The space

We have maximized this space so multiple families can stay together if desired. Most bedrooms have 2 or 3 large walk in closets with twin mattresses on the floor which we use for cozy extra sleeping quarters, great for kids or teens.

The guest suite above the garage is a completely separate private room with full bath and accommodates 4-6 comfortably.

The main house:
>>Bedroom 1 (main house master, downstairs) has a king and en suite full bath with jetted tub and shower.
>>Bedroom 2 (main house upstairs) has a queen and 3 twin mattresses inside large closets. Shared hall bath.
>>Bedroom 3 (main house upstairs) has a queen and 3 comfortable twin mattresses inside large closets. Shared hall bath.

Above Garage Private Detached Guest Suite:
>>Bedroom 4 (above the garage with private entrance)The private guest suite is one large bedroom with 1 king and 2 twin beds. 2 additional comfortable twin mattresses are on the floor inside 2 closets or alcoves depending on what you prefer. Private full bath.

You will have the whole 5 acre property to yourself.

Other things to note

Wifi is provided. There is no TV or DVD player. Cell phone service is good but not excellent at this location.

Note Linen policy:
-We provide pillows, sheets, blankets and bedspreads for 2 kings, 2 queens and 2 twins.
-If you plan to use the additional twin mattresses (these are the mattresses on the floor) you will need to bring a sleeping bag or sheets/blankets. We do have extra blankets and pillows. Please do not use these beds without bedding.
-We provide kitchen linens and 12 bath towels and wash cloths. A packing list will be provided upon booking for your convenience!

Boats (kayaks, motor boats, pontoon boats, stand up paddle boards, etc) can be rented and delivered to the dock, call Mountain 2 Island or Claytor Lake Water Sports.

The last one mile of the drive is on a gravel road that is quite bumpy.

Totally surrounded by water, on the tranquil Sound side of surf city on Topsail Island, a 3 or 4 minute walk to the beach, hot tub, huge covered private deepwater dock, vintage chic decor. Relaxing, fun, romantic and family friendly. Beautiful year round! Come see the best views on the Island!

The space

Our vintage-modern nautical inspired 4 bedroom beach house in Surf City has everything you need for a visit to the coast.

Every single window (on both floors) has views of the picturesque sound side of Topsail Island.

There are 3 lovely bedrooms plus a cozy "bunk room" which features a built in queen-over-queen bunk allowing guests to imagine they are sleeping in a ship's berth if they are so inclined. (in other words, it's a tiny room!)

4 huge decks allow ample space to stretch out and eat, drink, read or just relax while watching the dolphins jump and the ships sail down the Intracoastal Waterway.

Hot tub overlooks endless views of the intracostal waterway!

Our huge, covered private dock is located right out the back door and has deepwater. Bring your own boat and keep it right there. It doesn't get any more convenient!

In addition to being a peaceful place of refuge for adults, this home is a kids' paradise. Catch fish and crabs right off the dock, play in shallows, swim, kayak and sail within sight of the house, and ride bikes in the cul-de-sac (no traffic at all on our side of the private bridge). And of course you can easily walk to the beach several times a day, like we do!

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire house, outdoor patio, private deepwater boat dock, hot tub, and yard. The ocean is a short 3-4 minute walk down the lane and there is a private access point right at the end of the lane.
